50 Cent Launches High Tech Headphones - Powered By Intel

We all know Curtis Jackson popularly called 50 Cents as a prolific rapper and probably a former and notorious gangster. What we probably do not know about him is that he is a succesful serial entrepreneur.

He had partnered with Reebok on a G-Unit branded sneaker line. He also partnered with the firm Glaceau to develop VitaminWater which was bought by Coca-Cola in 2007 for $4 billion earning 50 Cents about $100 million dollars.

In 2011 he started SMS Audio which deals in music accessories, especially headphones and earphones.

SMS Audio has recently struck a deal with Intel Corporation for the production and sales of BioSport headphones and earphones powered by Intel.

The Intel-powered SMS Audio headphones/earphones have unique features such as high tech biometric sensors that monitors heart rate, pace, distance, elevation and even the calories burnt. There is even a sensor that tracks the bloodstream under your skin.

These features are either scary, helpful or exciting depending on who is speaking, but one thing that we know is that this is a giant leap for 50 Cent's SMS Audio - they are the first to introduce headphones powered by Intel and stamped with the words INTEL INSIDE.

And this is happening at a time when there is no single smartphone with the INTEL INSIDE stamp on them.
